“Available for Take-out”

The District Resource Center has a DVD copy of the EcuFilm Classic “Clayride”, taken from the previous longer version, which uses clay animation with an original music score to present a synopsis of 200 years of Methodist history in America. Your Confirmation Class may learn from it and enjoy it at the same time!!!

“It Worked for Us: Best Practices for Ministry with Children and Families” is edited by Judy Comstock and comes with reproducible resource pages and a CD-ROM. Topics covered include various age-level tips, safety, special events, special needs children and families, spiritual formation, technology and volunteers. Come by and check it out for yourself or your lay volunteers.

The new spring shipment of Cokesbury curriculum has arrived and includes samples for Rock Solid, One Room Sunday School, Bible Lessons 4 Youth and Dramas for Tweens.

In an effort to save you and your teachers’ time, we have begun adding our DVD resources to the district web-site, www.winstonsalemdistrictumc.org. You can go to the site and click on “Resources”. We currently have all Disciple studies, all Mickey Efird studies and Nooma studies that we own listed. Others will be added as time permits. You can then call 727-1222 to see if the resource you need is ‘in’ or ‘out’.
